Terms & Conditions
We very much look forward to your stay. Before then here are some terms and conditions for you to be aware of.
For all online and telephone bookings, we require payment upfront to secure the reservation.
Cancellation Policy: if you cancel your booking within 72 hours of your stay, the full amount for Bed and Breakfast will be charged accordingly. It is your responsibility to provide your own travel insurance for your reservation.
Check in: 15:00 – 20:00
If you are planning on arriving after 20:00, please let a team member know the day before check in or when you make the booking. Please be aware that the kitchen closes at 20:30 Monday to Saturday and on Sundays 16:00. If you will be requring an early check in, please enquire on the day of your reservation.
Check out: We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 10:30am on the day of your departure and leave your key at Reception. A late checkout can be arranged for a fee of £15 until 12pm.
A hot breakfast will be served for residents from 9am - 10:30am Monday through to Sunday in the main restaurant. For those guests with a pet, this will be served in the bar area. If you will be checking out early, we will deliver a continental breakfast tray to your room the night before you are due to check out. Please enquire with the reservations team at the time of booking.
Our restaurant & bar areas can become extremely busy, especially at weekends, so if you have not already booked a table with us to enjoy either lunch or dinner, please contact us prior to your visit to reserve a table to not be disappointed when you arrive. Unfortunately, we do not offer room service.
Special requirements
If you are hard of hearing, or would require assistance in the event of an evacuation, please let Reception know at check in.
Please make a team member aware of any allergies/dietary requirements you or others may have. We will make a note of this on your room booking & restaurant reservations. We have allergen information available upon request & GF/DF/V/VE menus available.
Special Occasions We have our house Prosecco available from £33.50 and Nyetimber English Sparkling wine available from £56. We do also have a full wine list if you'd like something else to celebrate the start of your special occasion. Please enquire with a team member at time of booking.
Dogs we are very happy to accommodate dogs in our garden rooms if you let us know at the time of booking so we can make the necessary arrangements for our four legged friends. A small surcharge of £10 per dog, per night applies. Guests are asked not to leave dogs unattended in bedrooms without first advising reception, leaving a contact number of where they can be reached.
Owners must take full responsibility for their pet’s behaviour throughout the stay and will be charged for any damage caused by their pet during their stay.
Please let a team member know at the time of booking if you will be bringing pets. We do also allow cats to stay in our garden rooms for a £10 charge per night.
Children are very welcome and we have one family room available. There is a surcharge of £15.00 per child, per night (children up to the age of 12 years). There is a surcharge of £30.00 per child over 12 or an adult, per night. We also have cots available at £10 per night (subject to availability).
The Fox is a non-smoking establishment however garden rooms have outdoor seating areas and we make provisions for smokers just outside of the bar and of course in our beer gardens.
Damage caused by guests and animals to fixtures and fittings in their room during their stay will be charged accordingly if the guest fails to notify reception at the time of departure.
